I am first and foremost a spiritual being. I have all my life, while others were going to church on Sunday, I was fighting the good fight. I have fought for justice, fed the children and have been a “peacemaker” while many others were just standing in judgement. I have been homeless, sick, broke, cold, had no electricity and arrested for talking at city council meetings. My strength to struggle and overcome all of that came from a very spiritual source. The struggle continues and so does the journey.
